View Full Version : Non-Run-Flat Tires?

I just bought a 2004 545i. Rear tires need to be replaced - it currently has Dunlop run-flats. After reviewing the posts on this forum, I think I'd like to try Michelin Pilot PS2's. Any issue with the tire pressure monitoring system?

The front tires are Dunlops also, but have plenty of tread. Any thoughts on holding on to them for a while with the PS2's on the rear?

Thanks for all replies!

don't do it- I had one of my runflats go bad on a business trip in maine-no where sold runflat-two day wait, soi put a regular tire until i got back-it will eventually ruin the other tires and you will need to replace all tires, plus if you're car in under warranty bmw will not issue new tires if you don't have original equipment on the car.
