Way behind on updating this page due to school/work, but I have updated it a bit over the past couple days.

Nice build - Did you make your budget?

Nice build jason. Are you bringing the car back to tech? Either way we should go for a drive some time.

yea Todd, I have been driving the car at Tech all Fall semester. You might not recognize it now that it is not 8 different colors... We definitely need to plan a backroads run sometime- i know some good roads.

The way it sits is just over $5k. I don't want to know how much time I have in it. I have stopped keeping track of the budget now. It is what it is, no sense in being too anal about it- I'm more concerned about my future.

is this the $10k budget street/track beater build I saw on bimmerworld's website? i've been watching for progress on that car.

The Bimmerworld budget car is no more... I just have that suspension on my car. This is my own version that just happens to strongly resemble it. Maybe James wants to put it on the website?

No, no. A real budget car has multiple paint colors/missing clearcoat. Jason's paint is too slick now. I think he does have the original budget car suspension though.

Our Budget Track car is no longer budget. It won the VIR 13 Hour overall as its final testiment to good planning, cheap spending. Then it was sold, got a $20k overhaul and now wins lots more races :)

The car has come along way, nice work! Should be quicker than the e21....

much quicker than the E21... but not quite as quick as that S50 machine that I had when you were my instructor, right Adam? Thanks for the praise!

Thanks for the suspension James!!! Dave didn't even recognize that it was my car after I got it painted- true to budget car form though, the paint was $300 total. Can't wait to be back around the shop.
