Gang: I have my mom's 1986 Mercedes 560SL with 52,200 miles that I am going to sell here in Atlanta. The car is in great condition, Just put new tires all around and ALL new brakes (rotors and pads all around) in 2007. Sony cd player with ADS speakers and subwoofer
I am planning on listing it on Craigslist, autotrader, AJC, roadfly, Hemmings. Do you guys know of any mercedes specific sites i can list without being a paying member? I noitce the last thread links you to a Mercedes 190SL group. is there a group for 560SL?
thanks

Not sure, what color how much :)... I have a 88' 560sl Just got done with the re-spray and the chrome just got back from being re coated.. it is going to be pimp' :)
Your best bet is to park it in a nice part of town and lets someone who would want to buy it see it.. Or Ebay they sell very well on there..

white with red leather, ALL original paint and its awesome shape, all paint and chrome are like NEW. the car has been garaged all its life and with only 52K, its been pampared. I don't think I am going to leave it out in the elements, she has about 5 coats of Zymol titanuim wax on it. I did a search on autotrader in the whole US, there are 5 cars similar and prices range from $14K to 28K. I think I am going to be around $16-17K

You might want to call Matt Kama at old world autoworks. My buddy reis' family has several old Mercedes' so I've been to his shop a few times with them and seen his collection of old Mercedes' he buys frequently. 404-550-8000 is his shop's number.
He has an old Mercedes Unimog. It's probably the manliest vehicle ever made.
