Hey guys I have to luxury to replace my leather on the car seats and I was wondering how to design it ? The color combination I should go for and what kind of leather texture and quality I should use?

Currently the interior is black on gray and the black plastic and all that is in great shape. Is just the leather and the headliner that needs to be replaced.

I am open for some ideas and maybe you can point me to some pictures where similar cool designs were done?

So basically I am looking at color combination for my replacement leather as well as the headliners, colors, combinations, textures, looks, mods, designs, etc, etc,

Since I have the luxury to be able to pay for this, now is a good time to come up with some cool design ideas and then I will execute it and of course share it with the rest of you :-)

Ideas, hinters, pointers, please??? And yes the car exterior is Alpine White since that matters as well...

Cheers
Ethan

If you are going to do just the seats and the headliner I`d suggest useing the original colour and leather.

So the original colors are ot an option anymore :-)

Black Suede headliner, All four pillar corners too!

That would look very good IMO.

As for the seats, maybe BMW individual style colour pattern with white in the middle (to match the exterior) and black for the rest... that would be way too much contrast for my taste but would work as "spiced up" I think...

BTW any pictures of your interior or a similar one? I can`t picture the black on grey combo.

This one is a bit bright in the colors but it clearly shows the color split line possibilities.

do a 2 tone on the seats...........darker in the middle to hide dirt/wear bwtter.....

I like the two-tone white and slate gray. As long as it flows with the rest of the interior and doesn't look pieced out.

my combo is black with gray. So I will need to use black for the two tone setup, right. It will look funny if I use those color combo just like in the picture...Ideas?

You should get those Sports seats from Jim in NYC and have them done to your likings! How many of us in the US have Sport seats? Here's a example of them awesome seats below.

Ethan,
Here is a Black on light grey (personal favorite). I would do the headliner in black though (and I will when I get around to it - although it will be in suede)...

That's the exact color I have in my new project car. And I really like the contrast of black and light grey, but I was thinking about spicing it up a bit since I need to redo the seats...

Hmm, those sport seat sure look good :-)

Ethan,
The "other" combo looks great too - Black with Lotus White (slighty "rarer" than the black and light grey/silver). Be careful with the spice, it is easily mistaken for pimp...

By the way I'm not Greg...
... he has a Parchment Interior

No I don't wanna come across as a pimp that's for sure. I just want something cool and different....
