i leave for college on monday and i failed because of a leaking p/s pump. i do not have the time nor the money to fix it right now and i need an inspection shop that will just sorta push me through. the car will get fixed first thing this summer when i graduate and actually have a job and the car rarely gets driven once i get to school.

does anyone know of a shop that will just sorta sign the papers and say that i passed? this is very urgent!

oh and i live in lees summit so shops closer to lees summit would be appreciated

just get some new hose clamps for the hose that is under the power steering reservoir. That is were it is leaking. Easy fix

Werd, if you're lucky it hasn't been cut back 10 times already and is too short to cut back again like mine is. :(

true, true. I need to fix mine as well. I just might replace the hoses and a few other things while i am under there.

i would love to come but im going to be at college so maybe sometime in the summer or later on. i've heard about the famed BMW BBQ get togethers. i took my g/f to jack stack down at union station over our Christmas break (she's from New Jersey) and she loved it!

Anyway i ended up getting the hookup today and hopefully i'll have time to get the car on jack stands and get those hoses reclamped.
