new owner of an '08 535i. Everytime I start the car the fan automatically turns onto to the lowest setting. anyway way to turn this feature off?


try to turn off the blower fan before you turn off the engine. It should not be on the next time you start the car.

Have the same problem on my '06 M5. Dealer told me they can't do anything about that (which I know has to be BS). I didn't pursue it any further b/c they're idiots and I'd be wasting my time arguing with them, and it takes a fraction of a second to turn it off after I start the car.
