I'm laying low on it for a while. I have a $3,000 mod/fix-er-up budget. So far this is what I am thinking...

New Sun roof panel, m-tech front, side skirts de-rust - $1,000
Putting in reupholstered MINT black sport fronts that I have already and getting the backs redone - $500 (maybe less)
Bilsteins, H+R's, Sways - $750ish
M-tech2 wheel, one piece shift knob/boot from my iX (new ones for iX)
CD43 - Fred, ready for another???? $250
That leaves me with $500 for misc stuff like timing belt, pads rotors, unknown issues.

Oh, Alpinas go on iX and Basketweaves will be refinished and go on Touring.

I want to have $8,000 into it total for now. I'm keeping til August and either selling to get my 135i or keeping if things at work have improved.

I know that I can get $8,000 if it's in MINT shape.

Cool. Yeah it's probably best to replace the sunroof panel altogether. LMK when you get the car, I'd like to check it out!

It's going to be a bitch to do because the harness for the petrol engine is completly different form the diesel engine.

The M21 engine sucks anyway. Rivalled only by the M40 in suckiness.

I'm thinking M50 swap soonish on the car. I think with engine I can keep it to $2,000 total. If that's the case I'll do it. Once done it'll set the stage for an easy S52 swap sometime in the future.
