On Thursday, April 17, 2003 at 5 pm, or even 4 pm if you can get there that early, at Dakota County Technical College AARRF is conducting a road course event. Let's have a big BMW contingent show up. Even if you do not come to participate in the driving, at least come to watch. Many different types of cars show up to these events and it is fun just to see what people have done to their cars. The weather is supposed to be 50-60 degrees and it stays light until 8-8:30.

Go to www.AARRF.com for more infoincluding track lay out, directions, membership etc.

It cost $45.00 to run at this event but nothing to watch. If you guys enjoyed our parking lot get together, you will love this event!! :buttrock :redspot :astromile :chix  ;) :D :awink:

You boys have fun this weekend at St. Cloud. I'm in CA for the weekend, so no track time for me. Good news is that the M3 suspension is totally into the 328, complete with the adj. camber, so when I do get to go, it should be more fun... and KB - did you ever yank the Dinan struts and such from your car? I think the struts I put into mine are not so fresh (still way better than the stock ones, but softer than I thought they should be). Later!

I believe it's on both the 26th and 27th. 26th requires a yellow license, whatever the hell that is, and the 27th is for rubes like me, if I could go...

"April 26 is the first event at St. Cloud. It is a closed track day limited to 30 cars and no run groups. This is a great way to get your car tuned up for the upcoming season. cost is $100 pre-registered.

April 27 is the first normal open running day at St. Cloud.
A Full day of lapping at the Saint Cloud track with passing. High speed, low speed circuits and drifting.
All for one price!!! $60 for members who pre-register."

Saturday is if you have a "Yellow License" which is another way of saying you have "experience". Everyone is eligible to run on Sunday, though. This will be a great time, everyone come out!!;)

You car must pass inspection: no leaking fluids, metal on metal for brakes etc., and a Snell 2000 approved helmet. The certified instructors train you how to drive the course and each driver can then tackle the course at their own risk.

More fun for the money than anything I can think of!!! If you love Bimmers you need to be there(to see what your car was designed and built for.

I will be there both days  ;) !!!!!!!!!
