today it was cold (low 40's) but I got one step done ! I removed the centric rings and measured the sizes. The ring size should be : inside 72.56 (72.50 stamped on the ring) and 82mm on the outside (inside dia of the wheel)
The wheel is the AC Schnitzer wheel. The centric rings I have are seems like either very hard plastic or some composite material. they fit into the wheel and then you can mount the wheel onto the hub. The trouble is they seem worn and this also might be trouble with the car - vibration issues.
I checked all my catalogs and all they mention is a a real ring which goes from 72.56 to 74.1 (E39 hub size)
Thsi spacer might be acs specific so I will try and call them but it might be available from somebody else ? I tried the bay but there isn't anything.
Why is Acs wheel inner size 82mm ? I have 2 sets and both uses the same ring ! what else do they need to fit that's as large as 82mm ?
