As mentioned in an earlier thread, I was thinking my car had oversteering issue during autox'ing but that everything was fine on the track.

As I was getting ready for my first run, I decided to crank up the rear pressure to 40 and leave the front at 37. Off I go! 1 turn-around, everything seems fine, I get into the offsets, hmm the rear-end seems a little loose, oh crap! Rear-end comes around and I'm in a spin. My ABS was off (for testing purposes) and man do I suck driving w/o it! (locks up every time).

In my 2nd run, I brought down rear pressure to 37 and cranked up the front one to 40. I also decided to take it easy and started to listen more to the car, basically driving at the limit and correct softly when the car starts manifesting signs of unhappiness. I got a 60 sec time.

Now, lately I haven't been able to bring my first run times down but this time, being careful at the limit, times dropped slowly, screeching became minimal and I was able to drop over 2 secs with a final time of 57.9 secs. I could definitely see areas where I could have improved on the course. My time was a little over 1 second slower than the first BR class driver (I ran in BS).

Bottom line is, Brian was right, I was driving my car way too fast, took a step back, slowed down, smoothened my inputs. It sure feels like the car is very sensitive to inputs but that's what you get when having c/o's, the car is more difficult to drive and it requires to be a better driver than with stock suspensions. I can't wait to be running the same tires all around and see how much I can push my car! (I'm still running different street tires on...)

Note: My time was 4 secs slower than the 2 X class drivers (ASP and DSP)
