Okay, here's the scoop... I have one little project that I want to finish relating to my pair of E36 Cabrios... I want to swap the convertible boot deck lids from one to the other.
It's not going to be all that difficult, but I can't pull it off myself. I need to have someone give me a hand to 1) take the lids on and off and make sure that they don't get dropped on the cars! and 2) Help get them all lined up which will require a bit of trial and error.
It's only 4 bolts that hold each of the lids on, and I have a compressor and air tools. Both of the cars are in my garage, so we'll have a place that we can work. I've even got a 'garage stereo' so we can have tunes while we get er done. :redspot
Anyway, if anyone has some extra time, and is willing to help me tinker on my E36's I would totally appreciate the help. I'd be more than happy to reward you with a 6-pack of your favorite beverage!!!
I work typical Monday - Friday business hours, so I'm usually home by 6pm. Tues - Fri is best for me.
Oh, and if you have a little project that you want to whip out on your ride (that doesn't require it to be in my garage overnight) and you want to bring it over to use my floor jack/jack stands/garage/tools/compressor/impact drivers; I'm cool with that too. A disclaimer though: a lot of my tools aren't the top of the line "snap on" type of stuff... I only wrench on my vehicles as a hobby and don't tend to tackle the BIG stuff by myself. So a lot of my tools are more of the "Harbor Freight" type of tools... Hey, you gotta work with what you got, right????
Anyway, let me know if you'd be interested in hanging out for an evening, helping me tinker on my E36's, and just hang out in general and B/S about cars and whatever. Heck, if we finish early enough, I'd be more than happy to host a movie or some PS2 on the 50" DLP...
Shoot me a reply or a PM and I'll get you my contact info if this will work out for ya...
