I just bought a certified 545i. Blutooth syncs with my phone OK, but for some reason incoming calls will not ring in the car. The only way I can see that I have a call coming in is if I happen to be looking at my phone. When I open the phone, everything works fine. Sales guy's phone worked fine, so they are saying it must be my phone. It's a new phone...MOTORAZR 2™ V9m.
Anybody have similar issue or have any advice where to turn next on trouble shooting?
thanks!

Ok here is the deal. This may be a bit lame but if the phone is not a BMW approved phone then it can work but will work correctly is another issue. OK geek part. BMW has implemented the Bluetooth stack to there liking...kinda like how Micro$oft implements the standards to their implementation.... anyway... Tell my why Nokia, the largest Mobile phone MFG in the buisness does not work w/ BMW bluetooth worth a damn..... Symbian OS.... If the firmware is not on the list BMW WILL SAY IT IS YOUR PHONE... go to www.e60.net and you will see about 1000 posts on BT. good luck
I have a Nokia 2366i and a Samsung SPH-M610 and both work great with the Bluetooth in my car.
