I am just curious to see how much most clubs pay the site owners to use the site for a day.

Rahul325 04-11-2003, 05:02 PM it depends on the site, like here in dallas the local chapter of CCA pays about $500(maybe lesser) for the site in mineral wells which is about 70 miles away from dallas in a smaller town but when they rented the parking lot in texas motor speedway last weekend i think they paid $2000. so it all depends on the site. John in Houston 04-11-2003, 08:35 PM GGP is $1000 / day. Reid Road is more than that. ainya 04-14-2003, 11:43 PM I think HPA is more then GGP but not too much.. and they pick up for you. .. horse track was expensive IIRC. The question i have is, who/where does the insurance come from? Jim O. 04-15-2003, 12:44 AM In the SF Bay Area, we pay between 1000-2500 per day for most of our sites. Insurance depends on the club - SCCA offers it's own insurance program through the national office. K&K does a lot of the insurance for the smaller clubs. Jim BJO 04-15-2003, 12:55 AM How much does K&K charge? is it per event or per year? Jim O. 04-15-2003, 01:10 AM I believe it's per event, maybe per car, but I don't know for sure. A lot of it also depends on the requirements of the site - some of them require larger amounts of insurance for property damage, etc. Jim Conepunter 04-15-2003, 09:01 AM Originally posted by BJO I am just curious to see how much most clubs pay the site owners to use the site for a day. Sites have cost us anywhere from nothing (military base) to $1500+ (including security, cleanup, porta johns) in NJ. Don't forget about insurance at $200 to $400 per event. Ed MoŽ 04-15-2003, 01:40 PM The National Capital Chapter paid $600 to use Rosecroft Raceway's lot last Saturday. Insurance was $200. ainya 04-15-2003, 09:02 PM so besides SCCA and K&K who else is an insurance provider? |
