Jeez, I was up in Wausau last weekend and they got 10+ inches of snow. I did some damage to the front of my m3 when I hit a snow furrow that a plow left behind. Now it looks like we are getting another 6+" here in Madison.

I'm over it, it can all melt now.

Blah, blah, blah.... ;) I just sold my winter beater (supercharged 318ti) so now I'm forced to drive the m3.

I can feel your pain. I just had to have a little paint touched up on the front bumper on my 330i ZHP a few weeks ago. Im longing for those summer days when I can take one of my 2002's to work! This slopply slush is clearly not condusive to my typically immaculate clean car!! UGG

Words cannot convey my pure and utter hatred for winter. You cannot convince that there is anything good about snow. There are no snow days. Shoveling this crap is a PITA. The snow does melt but then freezing temps hit again, and we are left with ice. Yay. 90% of all drivers have no clue. Esp most of the people in SUVs and AWD vehicles who think they can conquer anything despite what physics dictates. Ice leads to salt. Salting destroys the paint and leads to corrosion. Not only that, it destroys the roads. Which leads to constrution season. :rolleyes:rolleyes With the wonderful temps, you cannot wash the car for fear of openings freezing shut. Traction is severely limited leading to unintentional redlining and "burnouts." Scraping ice and snow of the car is a thrill a minute. :rolleyes:rolleyes All the crap on the outside (salt, sand, "crap") comes into the car and gets all over the interior (Even with all weather mats, this crap gets into the car). Oh and when the snow melts, that leads to flooding. So, um yeah, snow is useless.

Sorry there is nothing you can say to me that will make me like winter. I tolerate it because summer is so awesome.

nope. just a basic 5spd car. The air is a icebox and the heat is awsome on it. I found a e30 i want to get my hands on and need to sell this first, but i havent listed it yet.

I'd rather have an e30 too.

Subaru > BMW :buttrock

I <3 snow. I just got back from doing some wicked AWD donuts and drifts. It's snowier more than it's sunny here. Maybe I should just sell the BMW and be done with it. :stickoutt

I thought I replied to this yesterday. Oh well.

Both are fine choices.

I get 24-25 mpg in the NSX, 23-24 in the M3.

My older NSXs have been more reliable than my newer, warrantied M3.

I have owned two NA1 NSX coupes. I prefer the NSX.

The NSX offers a total experience that is unmatched at twice the price. The NSX is a permanent member of the collection. My M3 is going to be sold in the next few months, to make room for an old M5 that I hope will also be a permanent member.

This topic (and my opinion on it) have been discussed repeatedly. Search NSX and posts by brahtw8 and you will find more than you want.

I recommend www.nsxprime.com

I help moderate the marketplace there.

Many current NSX owners are former/current M3 owners and this topic has been discussed on many occasions.

I know that guy and that car, and no. That car is worth the asking price of $5k. The one I am buying is much nicer.

Rain washes away the sand and salt. FTW. Oh and Pilots are decent in the rain. They blow in the snow.

So rain > snow. ;)

Blizzaks = great in the snow. Terrible in the rain.

Some days it's good to have low traction. I'd be hangin' it out all day if it wasn't for the hop.... =/
