Hello I just purchased a 2004 530i and I wanted to know if BMW has a factory ipod hook up for this year and model? If so can someone provide part # or any info on the part?
Ideally I would like to be able to control the ipod through the factory radio, if possible

Yes they do. The part number is 65 11 0403 651. This will work with or without navigation.

I have it on my 2004 and it works great.

I inquired at the dealer last week for my 2004 530i w/o nav or 6-disc changer. $300ish. Ouch. I guess it isnt just a cable. Not sure if its a dealer install item or that was just for parts.
