need info + help please...
when at a fillin station i noticed my e36 94'coupe leakin a liquid from below the radiator area quite rapidly.
i thort i had overfilled the radiator with water but the level was fine and hadnt lost any water. the temp was fine but nxt day was drivin on motoway wen the temp shot up into the red and blowers turned ice cold. i hit traffic and the engine cut out spilling steam from my engine bay.
the radiator level is normal but looks like coolant dripping.
Does this sound familiar to anybody? What could it be? any ideas?

Well you have a coolant leak. In that area of the engine bay it could be anything (radiator, expansion tank, hose, water pump, or thermostat housing). An examination will be necessary to find the source of the leak.

bad head gasket...maybe

replace radiator, hoses, water pump...

then see what else you have to get.

Diagnose the problem dont just start throwing parts at it and see if it fixes it. Also id check to make sure there isnt any eingine damage to it since it overheated
