Since i have had the 323i, ive done some minor things here and there.
I've taken out the back seat and replaced it with really nice black vinyl.
I cleaned up the engine bay a bit
Did the valves
Cleaned up the interior
Switched out the seat belt clicker deals because the ones that came with car didnt work
Completly cleaned exterior and did 3-step wax and paint stuff.
And the biggest project, The wheels. Took them off the second day i got the car and started redoing them.

and had to roll on the 13's.

started to sand them down and take all the heads off, drill through and tap.

once i did all that, i polished the aluminum and painted the centers and the bolts.

so what do you think of the wheels?

I personally love them and cant wait to finish all of them and get them on the car.
as for future things i need to do as soon as possible:

Sometimes my cluster light, and right running light wont light up. they are connected somehow, guessing the switch.
I need to fix my drivers side door lock
get h&r springs
Thicker sway bars
looking for a nice roll bar
and should be getting new carpet

and thats about it. i love this car so much!

Personal opinion on the wheels? Well, honestly I do not like the bolts at all. I would have went with ARP 12 point polished stainless assembly bolts over alen bolts, I absolutely hate them on my Epsilons. Are they finished, or are you leaving them unpolished?

Wheels still look good though!

I have the same cluster/rear rt side light problem. They are on the same circuit, and quickly overload/pop the fuse when I turn the lights on, and maybe when I hit the brakes, too. It never used to do this, just since I took it out of the body shop, so I'm looking for a bad ground. Problem is I can't find it!!!! I paid my shop to find it, and they may have to do some $erious $urgery to find it.....I don't think that the light switch would account for all of the lights working except for the guage and rt rear running light.
Nice wheels. Personally, I like gold centers on rims. But I am too tacky for a respectable opinion...
Let us know how you fix the guages and lights?

yeah, i looked into it. i just dont like that star look what so ever. The rims did have the 6 point stars and i just dont like them. I think these turned out great! And thankyou for the opinion.
nice work!

I was going to get some i think last week, but then i decided to drive up to tahoe and left quickly. i will soon though!

Thanks for the comments. Would you guys done any other color? i was going to do a dark grey but then figured black is better IMO.

yup, that's what I would have done too, the black is nice, but I think a dark grey would be more keeping with period-correctness than true black... if you care about that sort of thing. Although I don't think anyone made any of that style in anything other than just the bright aluminum or gold centers did they? maybe I'm all wrong.

Chamonix. That white is perfect...some of the old "Olde Englishe White-e" shades are nice. And they look sooo good when they get dirty.

The Flat Metallic Red from the early e92 M3 factory glamour photos is on my perfect color quest. I'm gonna try it out on my motorcycle first....
But my car is the Metallic doo-doo Brown late '70's jive turkey shade of "what you talkin' 'bout Willis?" that sums up that age pretty well. Sh*t what is that color called? It's hot stuff.
I remember hearing a while back that statistically, grey and silver cars are the ones that are most often involved in accidents because they blend into the asphalt/sky colors under certain conditions. doo-doo brown.
