Well there I was traveling along rt13 heading up north for christmas dinner. When in the distance i see a shiny black car with two pipes down below. Then the light turns red.

Hmmm. Lets see what we have here. O its a black gt with some chrome torque thrusts that had some mad rubber on the back. So i get over in the other lane and pull up to the line. Then my girlfriend says. " I think he wants to race you".

He moved up to the line and looks over while barely seeing him through the tinted windows. I could see he had a nice crack in his windshield.

Well eyes straight ahead now. Have to watch this light. I was excited since i have wanted to race a gt to see how i fare up to one.

While all this goes on my mom and two sisters are behind me in another car. They know whats about to happen.

So im just sitting there waiting for the light. "Ill see if he gets on it a bit". Light turns green. AND IM OFF. To a slow start. Waiting for him to go. A second later I hear him on it. I hit it in first and broke the tires loose. By the end of first he is about a fender ahead. Smack it into second. "AWW SHIT" My clutch slips a bit. let off just enough to catch. Then slam it back down. End of second I pull even to him. Slam third and a little more slippage. Third stayed pretty even to about 90 then I hit fourth and start to gain. He was still going at it hard. Then we were done at about 125mph and had a good 1.5-2 cars on him.

All in all it was a close race. I think I would of inched him out earlyer if I was not slipping. But hey I still won.

P.S. My trunk was full of christmas gifts. For you guys that worry about weight.

well thats a hella fast v6 if you ask me. Cause im not stock. One of my friends had a 99gt and it didnt have badges.

That is probably a debadged GT.......I had an 04 GT and it didn't have chrome tailpipes.

Again I have to explain this crap.........A stock GT runs a 14.6 in the 1/4 mile.........a stock ///M3 runs a 14.1

Even with the traction issues the ///M3 should have won and he did

Nice job , yeah those year v6 have 200 h.p and 200+ lbs of torque , not as slow compared to the older v6 stangs and he probably wasn't stock . I think the GT is a little faster than the e36 M3 , i believe they have atleast 300lbs of torque , so that could explain him getting ahead the first few gears . Any way nice kill

I believe I see a cutout on the driver side with a pipe chillin in it.......If it was a V6 bumper it wouldn't have a cutout.

The OP said he saw 2 pipes as he pulled up on it..........

4.6 2V GT's are slow enough.....There's no way a 3.8 V6 Mustang pulled with an S52 powered ///M3.

I've owned an 04 GT and I know several others that have owned GTs in that body style....
I raced several E36 ///M3s when I had mine and even took it on a DTMPower.net drive a couple times........

Logic would show that if in stock form an S52 ///M3 is capable of a 14.1 second trip down the 1320 then one with the mods listed would do it even quicker than that.......

I compare real world experience with other media I've seen to determine what a car is capable of............

That is video footage of my old 04 GT. I get raped by an automatic GTO. Then a mild bolt on Saturn Redline pulls even with the same GTO, therefore the Saturn is faster than me as well. I then get raped by an SRT4 Neon and a 300ZX. I then get walked by a Nissan Altima 3.5 SE and at the end it takes me Eleventy-billion years to hit 140 mph.

The car had dual pipes, it had fog lights, it had the gt hood scoop and the spolier. If your saying a v6 mustang that does 0-60 in like 7 seconds kept right next to me in my modded m3 then something is wrong.

It must have really been an E30 318is with 550 badges on it, or it had an M44 swapped into it for some crazy reason, or the driver had no idea what he was doing, or a Rustang GT owner put a 550 body kit on his 04 GT and in all reality you actually beat a gutless Mustang that may or may not have been a V6:shifty

Anyway, +8ish for a debadged GT. They were only 260hp stock and a good bit heavier than an e36. They're quick enough to be fun, but nothing more.

Actually it was the engine bay of my 06 Mustang.....not trying to start anything:D. It's completely redone top to bottom. forged rotating assemly, 2.3L twin screw blower, kooks headers, off road h, and 4.10 gears. My best run so far was 12.04 at 119 mph with a crappy 60 foot on street tires. with practice, I'll get to 11.70's or so. I took the pic down cause it went way off topic.
