can anyone tell me what went wrong with my car ? ... ok so i was doing donuts in the road lastnight .... everything was fine bout ten mins later i pull in to get gas ... when i left my car is having a hard time going like 1st gear is out ... all other gears work fine ...no slipping and now my automatic to manual button dont work .... btw i have a e36 325 automatic ...

says you have a M3 im confused... i have no idea what happened but would bet my money on damaging when doing donuts... how old are you?? seems like whenever someone does donuts something bad happens so just stop... good luck with your problem hopefully its not too expensive to fix.

haha. a tranny if def a pretty penny. Which is why i saty away from e36 autos they have a bad track record. It kinda like a hit or miss thing with them

i have 2 bmw's one m3 and one 325 .. im 22 i found a couple trannys ranging from 5-700 installed .. not bad but im not sure if thats the problem .. is there anything else that would make just one gear go out ?
