The passenger side window of my 318i convertable rolls up/down at random. How do I fix this issue?

How bad does the top leak?

does it go all the way up and down or just like a 1/4 inch

It goes down about 1/4" and then back up. When I roll it down it wont roll up using the switch. It works its way up on its own!?

Well the 1/4 inch up and down suggests a bad/mis-adjusted door microswitch. As for the window not rolling up, I have no idea.

Change the door striker.

so other then the window moving that 1/4 inch, it moves itself up and down then the window is completely down?

change the door striker that should fix the problem or at least half of it
