I have a 99 328i and would like to start gathering all the stuff to do a swap, I bought the car with the thought of this in the back of my mind and would like to have the stuff when I do this

So far I have found one E46 that has been converted (idaho speed)

I know I will need the LS2/t56 harness and computer
the motor mounts and cross member for the transmission (idaho speed 350$)
Cobra IRS rear section

So I said all that to say well ask
Anyone else got a E46 with a LSx motor in it? what am I looking at as far as wiring and keeping the nice features such as ABS and the Traction Control?

Basically what am i looking at? Getting into? cost/headache

Sounds pretty awesome man. First place I have heard of with parts needed to do this swap on an E46! E46 style with LSx power:buttrockKeep us updated on how it goes and what other swap parts you find.

I would look at the Vorshlag LS1 swap on the E36 to get an idea of what you are looking at as far as cost. E46 will probably have some different issues than the E36 swap but I couldn't see it being mind blowing different.
