I was bleeding my brakes and clutch and when I press down on the clutch pedal it works a few times then looses all pressure so I pulled the slave off again to re-bleed it and the push rod is dislodged and dustcover is turned inside out. What am I doing wrong? This is a new slave cylinder to the old one blew completely apart.

Edit:
Pushed the rod back in and then bolted it up and it seems to work fine now must have been pushing something the wrong way.

i had that same problem and it just went away. i hate bleeding the clutch.
