i'm swapping motors in my 93 325is. i have no computer for it currently but my friend gave me the stock chip from his 95 M3 with a silver lable 413 and said if it helps great if not oh well. i know the reccamended computer is the red lable but is there a way i can make a silver lable work in my non ews car?

i'm swapping motors in my 93 325is. i have no computer for it currently but my friend gave me the stock chip from his 95 M3 with a silver lable 413 and said if it helps great if not oh well. i know the reccamended computer is the red lable but is there a way i can make a silver lable work in my non ews car?
silver label will work as long as you use non ews chip.
