Hey Guys, the Dyno at Carb Conn is up and running again and I know there is a lot of interest still, so here we go. The plan is for Saturday the 19th of January, show up at 10:00 to get started, and break around 1:00 or so for lunch. John at Carb Conn has graciously offered to give everyone who was scheduled in the original post (here (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=882287)) an extra $5 off at this event. Pretty good deal since it was out of his control. So the price would be $75 ($70 off the regular price of $145) or $70 if you were on the original post (plus tax). You will get a good baseline (3-6 runs) including power/torque/AFR/ and boost if applicable (boost source signal must be easily obtainable).

did your car stop revving at 6.5k?

What kind of Dyno was being used?

4wd dynojet.

It turned out I had a disconnected vacuum hose from the manifold to the fuel pressure regulator :(
With that, and a very lean air/fuel ratio, I put down 262whp. Very disappointing, but hopefully with the hose reconnected, I should get the 300-310whp that I was hoping for.

Todor REALLY wants me to buy him breakfast, hahahaha!

My afr was lean, from 3k to 6.5k! I Software wasnt tuned for the delage intake!:(

your car was cool! I was suprised to see a S50 in there!

Your car has a lot more potential power wise with tuning (i think I remember it cutting off at 6250 rpms or something)

Not sure if it would gain any max power but definitely be good to gain that extra 300+ revs. Going to figure out a new chip to get, that with the fuel stuff should really help.

Forgot to add, my friends S4 ASP Stage 3 put down some great numbers.

Still a waste becuase he will need a new clutch/ flywheel kit soon anyways if hes maken any real power, it will half to add up to around 5-6 when all said and done + im sure he'll go stage 2 sometime.

I've already told Todor that he's getting a new clutch whether he likes it or not. That's kind of moot considering it's a wear item and a common upgrade for NA cars as well.

PS.

There still may be more power to be made, I'm installing a new fuel filter this week =)
