There are a ton of solutions out there these days. One that we have had really good results with is the PCS XFC 2000 Fuel Computer (http://www.powertraincontrolsolutions.com/content-22.html).

There are some questions to answer and tweaks maybe to work with your Alpha-n flash, but the PCS box is pretty user friendly and powerful.

Thanks
Brad

Wow, that's surprisingly affordable. I need to find some help on this stuff.

Thanks for the info Brad.

Will the new Jim C. tuning tool work on the S50B32 computer?

Hey Bryan,

There was some limited chat about it on the eurospec forum. Alex L. didn't think that his tool would work for us. I wish it would! Maybe I'll shoot him an email to see for sure!
Anyone know Conforti's email address?

Hey Max,

You're car looks GREAT! I just went back and saw the picture of it. Can you post more pictures please? Also, you did say you paid $1150 for the fenders, right? If you dont mind me asking, what size wheels/tires are you running, and what did they run you moneywise? I am keeping my non-sunroof E36 shell around for a long term project and after seeing your car, I have to do the pennon products, it looks great!

I hope all is well, I know you were battling mechanical gremlins for a while, let me know if you need any parts, etc. I might have something laying around.

Are you going to O-fest?

Yes, that's the Pennon kit, and I'm pretty sure it was around $1500. Really easy to install, too. I'm running Enkei 18x10s with 275/35/18s.

I REALLY need to update this thread. My car is finally getting close to being roughed in after a year and tons of $$$. If I could only do it over again...

Anyway, here are some more pics from the NASA Championships (and thanks to Jon Felton for the great shots). I ended up 6th in GTS-4 (out of 11 cars that started the weekend), but had an absolute blast. Note that the Pennon gelcoat is so good, that these parts are unpainted! Also note that I'm not running the front winglets that are part of the Pennon kit. I didn't get a chance to install them, which is good, as I would have torn them right off during one of my many off-track excursions! max

PS: I won't be at O'fest, baby is due October 11th! Anybody wanna buy a racecar? :)

Cookiepuss racing for life son!

That's what your car is missing, cookiepuss across the top of the windshield.

Do it.

Max,

That car looks amazing! I'm not even done my CM transformation and I see a widebody kit as the next project.

Congrats on the baby. I've got twins and believe me. Don't sell the car!! While the money will help you'll need it for your sanity...

Mark,

Don't worry, the car is staying! My buds have been razzing me for the past 8 months, calling "dibs" on the car when the baby arrives. I'm planning on a full season of NASA GTS next year, plus Nationals. Hope to see you down here sometime!

Sorry the pics aren't better and that I didn't get more, Max. I was too busy working. Next time definitely!

looks like your hood bows up quite a bit. does it flap at speed? mine did that, and I fixed it by adding more fiberglass underneath to stiffen it.

Does Ike still make the widebody kit?

Does Ike still make the widebody kit?

It was pulled off of Ike's car, but is made and sold by Pennon Composites.

For anyone who is interested, the Pennon Kit sells for $400 per front fender, and $250 per rear corner, plus about $50-100 shipping, so you are looking at roughly $1400.

Congrat's on the baby Max! I hope to meet you and the car in person next year.

thanks for your assistance with my questions, I appreciate it.
