Hey all -

I'll make this thread short since i have been getting logged off AOL every minute. How will my stock m3 manual do against a manual Turbo Impreza 2.5RS with 3psi/intercooler/exhaust (straight line). He took me for a ride.. and i thought it was very quick.


Also -
In preparation for a race, there exists a check list. That is obviously air conditioning off and ASC off. My question to you is; does Auto Air Distribution (96+ M3's) deduct HP like air conditioning or is that only air conditioning? If this is true, will decreasing the intensity of auto air distribution free up more power? Is there any way to turn off the Auto Air Distribution?

Just the fan only puts a "slight" load on the car due to the extra electricity needed to spin the fan... probably doesn't reduce performance any more that having your radio on.

I raced a 2.5 RS w/ aftermarket turbo kit in my 328is this past year, and I beat it, sort of close, but I did pull away from it. So, I'm sure you will have no problem beating it, 3 psi is not much boost at all either, I'm sure the one I raced was running 5psi or more. I'd say you will eat him up good!
