Hi everybody,
My name is Raj and I've been a lurker for quite some time.
I'm a regular over at twinturbo.net and I drive a 1991 300ZX Twin Turbo with a few mods.
No bodykit, no big stereo, no decals, no stickers.
Just a clean, stockbodied twin turbo with forged racing wheels and go fast goodies like intake, exhaust, chip, ebc, downpipes and intercoolers.
740cc injectors, high flow fuel rails and a new EFI harness are sitting in my closet waiting to be installed.
And when my turbos go, then I'm all set for a big power upgrade.
Anyway, I'm going to help a friend negotiate a deal on a 2008 328xi Coupe tonight at North Haven BMW in Connecticut.
I was wondering if anybody could provide any insight as to how accurate Edmunds.com's True Market Value price is.
Through this site I found the BMW wholesale and retail price spec sheet, but it only lists the sedans.
I've added up the wholesale base price and the options he wants and added that to half of what I have calculated to be the dealer holdback.
This price came out far below what Edmunds.com claims is the TMV.
From what I understand, the coupes have an approximately $2,000 premium over the sedans.
Is this true?
The only options he is ordering are the Xenon headlights and the Heated Front Seats.
Any insight or advice with regards to North Haven BMW or the 328xi coupe in general would be greatly appreciated.
If you wouldn't mind private emailing me approximately what you paid in the Northeast for your 328xi, I would also be very thankful.
Great forum.
Would you guys/gals mind if a 300zx showed up at any of your meetups?
Raj
