I'll be in Big Bear this weekend (thursday-sunday) with some friends. We rented a big house, and are spending at least one day on the slopes.

Any other things to do there? Hiking? Good restaurants? Places of interest..?

Not really. it's pretty much just the mountain.

hmmmm, im going up there the 29th - the 3. to bad you werent going to same time or else i could have hooked you up with free snow boarding passes. (we own stock for snow summit). as far as food goes, go to the lumber jack cafe (mapquest it)
best breakfest ever (my family owns it) and its really good. also if you get in trouble with the cops and the cop happens to be a stan/travis/jim wijnhamer. tell him you know cory wijnhamer and they will let you go probably lol (im there son/cusin/nephew
but there isnt much fun stuff to do up there!

When I started to read the first post, Madalins cam to mind for me. Very good food.
Must try their secret recepie soup. Forgot what kind it was. But they are famous for it.

We are definitely going, it's 5 of us. We are undecided if going the 25th or the 1st of Jan which is the next Tuesday, but if free food is involved, I guess we are going on the 1st haha
