What does a 2001 530 sport have in it? What does a 3.46 offer over a 3.15? Everyone i've seen on the board recommends getting what the 99 and newer 5er has(3.15)?

Its a basic trade off of top end speed vs. acceleration ...the higher the gearing in the diff the faster acceleration ie 0-60 and quarter mile. Since I don't drive over 140mph normally I feel I'm not really sacrificing much
