Has anyone seen or have pictures of an E32 wit hshaddow line trim. I'm thinking of painting all my chrome and polished aluminum black. Its over 1000 my cost from BMW. Thats just rediculous. I just want to see if it looks good or not. I've seen it on e34's and e30's and it looks great.

E38's with factory shadowline trim should give you an idea. YES, some have removed/repainted the factory units but just be very careful when removing them!

Or for a demo/test fit: black tape over the chrome and see how you like it.

Real Shadowline trim is quite expensive. I would try shadowline tape.
There are many which use it.
