Noone is their right mind will buy a vert right now. Other thing is, M3 verts historically have lower resale then their coupe counterparts. I dunno why. I personally love the look of both the E36 and E46 M3 Verts. weaksauce 12-19-2007, 10:52 AM Its the weather. Noone is their right mind will buy a vert right now. I bought a corvette convertible in october a few years back for 20k. then drove it for 2 years, put 40k miles on it and sold it for 19k SecretAznSauce 12-19-2007, 10:53 AM actually smart people are buying verts now and then resell them in spring. Im not talking about someone looking at a car as an appreciating asset. Cause that would just be plain weird that a car actually holds its value. weaksauce 12-19-2007, 11:33 AM Im talking about the average consumer looking to buy a car. I understood what you meant, I was just being myself (which means making a smart ass comment whenever possible) I have 2 cars right now, maybe 3 that will be appreciating assests when they sell. the 330 was bought dirt cheap (thanks my little brown friend) the M3 was a trade for a 540 I had that i also bought dirt cheap and my 68 FJ40 landcruiser is worth more every day it sits in storage. mt3ch 12-19-2007, 11:39 AM see what happens when you make a generalized statement? I understand. Its funny, b/c I never woudl touch a used car. When I left FL, I had sold my zhp for a 2001 Beetle 1.8t and a Ford escape. I drove them for 10k miles each and sold them for 20% more than what I paid here in TX. Now I have the M3 which I can sell for at least 20% what I paid, but thats not gonna happen.....M3 stays with me 4ever. :buttrock Is your little brown friend Mister hanky? :ausw_6 BTW, where can I get an M Coupe cheap???
