View Full Version : 535i s 188 KS E34
messerschmidt 12-19-2007, 07:42 AM Hi Y'all. I'm looking at buying a new car, presently bumming it in a rat E23, 7351 exec.& I love it. it's awesome, getting a bit rough, few things on it that dont work, like anything electric... Hey but it runs well, & sounds like a messerschmidt when it winds up, even gota little plastic kitset in the rear parcel tray! ( they dont put swastika's on german models anymore??)
But... The oily writing is on the watery wall, think the head gaskets gone, & as much as I got at soft spot for this old beast I'm not spending money on it.
I've had a 525 before sew wanting to stay with the e34, sew I'm looking at; 540 530 & sum 535's. there's one listed as s 188KS. I've never herd of that! It has a badge by, or on the front No. plate, knot on the grille like an 'M' & has something on the rear, opposite wear the push lock is, I can make out the Bm logo. It's like a sports pack or something, sgot skirts, apron, spoilers etc.
Any information anyone???
Also watts a reasonable mileage for a 535? like models I'm looking at are 180 to 230 K's, Watt about the V8's the 3 or the 4 litre?? mileage wise. Anyway thanks
P.S. The shark yard are advertising it as an aussie, t' thats Australian for Australia, (the nation founded on criminals...) Model so Y'all might not have herd of that. they dont like the heat, & are known for overheating, not made for the hot climes, like 35 40 deg C.
Testercles 12-19-2007, 09:33 AM G'Day from Australia.
There's a couple Aussies on here, good to see it happening down here as well.
As for the 535i s 188 KS E34 I can't help you there.
shrike071 12-19-2007, 10:16 AM That hurt my brain... Perhaps it's just too early in the day to decode that message...

messerschmidt 12-19-2007, 06:23 PM dont chew guys understand good phonetic english?
Okay I'll write slowly if this is bit hard to follow....
I'm looking at buying an E34 535, in WA It's a 1990, & it's sold as an Ausie model.
It's badged as 535i s 188KS E34 & has a couple of litle badges on it with BM logos.
Looks like an M series, skirts spoilers etc.
Has anyone ever herd of this badging before? Check it on cars guide.com/ perth
I've looked it up but cant find no reference to 188KS???????
It's on my list, but sew is a 535 exec witch is nicer in leather, or 1 530 witch sits on nice rims, maybe even the 540, but it looks like my dads car!
Blitzkrieg Bob 12-19-2007, 06:34 PM Bogans should stick to Holden Commodores:D
messerschmidt 12-19-2007, 06:39 PM You must think you're pretty funny, Bob! I've had 3 commordores & 4 beemers. Dont exactly consider myself a bogan.
Anyway I'm posting a serious question can all the comedians go try their lines out on their Mums?
blinkE34 12-19-2007, 06:40 PM it's rice - no such car ever existed
messerschmidt 12-19-2007, 06:57 PM Thank ewe for serious reply, thinking it's some aftermarket badging? Looks like a Bm logo but. Will go have a look this weekend, Might be a badge offf of a m/c, sounds more lioke it!
It's 2nd on my list. Chances are if it's all skirted up someone has prob been driving it like a race car.
Think I'll go with the exec!
ingardj 12-19-2007, 08:26 PM Saw a GREAT looking e34 540i on Home and Away yesterday. You could try going to Summerbay.. Might be for sale!
messerschmidt 12-20-2007, 04:57 AM Real? How do eye get to summerbay, is Kylie still there? Those people aren't real aussies, far too friendly & helpful, got all their teeth too!
Found out watt the KS logo is about, rang my friendly beemer Motor Workshop, it's the body kit Karl Sandilands oar sumthing like that, think it was abit more German.
Advice from the shop, 535 bulletproof, good for 400kk's. 530, yeah, but hard to get parts. 750, hairs a surprise, theys goodies, if'n ewe get a goodun!!

1. Now be fair, lumping all Aussies as hicks isn't nice, those jokes should be specific for Tassies... lol
2. Hell yeah, I'm getting a 535i with 284k kms and it still goes perfectly.

Now I'm confused. Tassie? I assume this to mean Tasmanian? So lowest of the low?
3eggwagon 12-20-2007, 11:11 AM How can a thread start with a joke about swastika badging, then get all sensitive about joking?

All jokes aside.. You got to do something with your writing. I don't understand half of the things you say. Why "Eye", instead of I? And what the f*** is "pin ewe sum pix"?
I know i'm not perfect, but this thing got to stop!
Btw, good luck with the car. Don't forget to post some pictures..
