Hi, I am having a problem with my 1995 525it. When the car is cold it will run like a bat out of hell, as soon as the engine gets to normal operating temperature it hesitates when I give it gas (a lot of jerking). I would say that it is the worst around 2000 – 3000 rmp. It seems like when it is reved up over 3500 it will rev nice with no hesitating. If I put the car in park it does the same thing as when I am driving it. The car has no codes. This is driving me nuts.

it might be a bad o2 sensor. try unplugging the o2 sensor so the car runs in open loop mode. if the problem goes away, it's the sensor. if not, on to the next test.
after that, i would guess a bad coolant temp sensor.

The word around the campfire is that revving it in park isn't the greatest idea also.

sfgearhead, that looks just like my car! Is yours blue? I bought an intake air temp sensor I just need to put that on and try it.
