Alright so my muffler has a hole in it. And I am looking for a new one. My dad is going to take the car, so I can start driving my e30, but I want to fix the muffler.

Anybody know of a sporty but not obnoxious muffler to go with? Or where I can get a cheap OE one?

Thanks in advance, and yes, I know we don't have muffler bearings... :)

Brett @ Koala has a bunch of NOS BMW rear exhaust systems, think they're mostly Ansa and Bosal....Not really sure what's left at this point but I know that he has systems for E34 M20 cars.

What's a muffler bearing?

Personally, I'd either save up money for an Eisenmann, or get a stock one off a parts car. Partially rotted just makes them sound better (seriously), and sell for less. IMO, these are the only two good-sounding exhausts on an E34.

Get a stock muffler catback, $500 at any International parts stores or ICP, FCP, etc

get a magnaflow sport muffler off ebay for about 130$. if the resonator is on i dont think it would be that loud, and it will have a good tone. its smaller, lighter, would have to be custom fitted, and have custom hanger. should be that expensive. less than a oem one. it also looks great.

this is my set up

See, I don't want to get a stocky because they cost way too much. LoL. I just paid $190 for a new radiator.
