17" blizzaks. I have been going just about anywhere in the recent storms. High centered and all dragging the undercarriage and it just keeps going. Quite remarkable given one wheel drive :)

I punched my way into some parking lots with at least 6 inches of heavy sloppy snow, rubbing underneath and it just scrabbles along.

for what its worth.

I can't stand the sound of the bottom scraping the snow/ice, it drive me nuts, as if someone is scratching my cojones with a pitchfork. :mad

I also use 17" Blizzaks with my 328xi coupe. It's definitely like a little tractor. The benefits of AWD sure have come to light this winter in Toronto.

Once you go Blizzacks, you never go back!

I had them on my wife's Benz (also RWD). I used to pass the plow in heavy snow at 3am on my way for diapers. (Cause when your newborn has gotta go, DAD has gotta go... TO THE STORE IN A BLIZZARD!)
