So Friday night I was going to Planet Hollywood for the Miracle Mile shops. I was on Las Vegas Blvd and missed the turn for Harmon so took the next left through the back of the MGM, a road riddled with speed bumps. No problem, I thought, I'm not an idiot when going over speed bumps. THUD! What the...
Next speed bump, at about 1.5mph, THUD! Are you kidding me? As far as I know my car is stock, though it does have the sport package, not sure if that makes a difference with suspension. I should be able to go over speed bumps without slamming the chassis shouldn't I? I checked under the car and didn't see any damage. Can anyone suggest where the contact might have been so I can look closer? Thanks guys.

Is the sound coming from the back or front?

My wife works over there. When she had the Z3, if there were two of us in the car it would always hit the frame rails (and drag the length). Those must be the worst speed bumps in Vegas.

I hit speed bumps out where I live in my M. I'm surprised you would hit bumps though in stock 325.

I remember back when I had to go to the HR over at the MGM. That time the car was still dropped atleast 2.5", doesn't matter how slow or angled the car was on the bumps it was horrible.

maybe you're missing a few exhaust hangers? stock suspension shouldn't rub or atleast can't be that bad.

The front, just after the front wheels come down. Thinking maybe it's the lower jack points on the frame rail.
