View Full Version : Shipping wheels with tires question... ADOBO 12-16-2007, 09:39 PM I've never shipped wheels with tires before and want to know what is the best method of packaging them without causing damage during transit? TIA Don Nguyen 12-16-2007, 10:06 PM I got two big boxes from ULINE. I don't know if you can just get two, you might have to buy a package of like 5 or 10. Either way, I ended up putting two in each box, since they were just the right size. I then shipped them via DHL like that. Got to the customer with no problems. Individual boxes would work just as equally well. -Don ELIBEEMER 12-16-2007, 10:21 PM Shipping wheels with tires: I use carboard to protect the front face of the wheels, an shrinkwrap the hell out of the entire wheel, then i use 3M clear tape and give it a couple wraps.... this method has worked well, even when shipping GROUND back to the East Coast. I have never had a complaint.... BTW: Tire Rack ships their wheel/tire combos with just the carboard on the front face with zip ties (tires exposed) hope this helps..
