Hello, I bought on Ebay a CD with BMW TIS(Technical Information System.) I am having problems installing the program. The instructions sheet says I have to use a program called sysadm to install TIS. Where can I get this program? Has anyone used this program?

Doesn't seem to work on Vista. $10 wasted and a lot of info I don't have... complete BS.

TIS CD Works if your not running 64-Bit versions of XP or VISTA. It WILL run on VISTA as long as it is not the 64-bit version, you are the administrator or have admin privledges, my understanding is you also have to have a database tools installed (SQL?). Anyways - the one I ran on my VISTA Laptop worked fine. I had to install the Sysadmin first, then go to "TIS" and then click on "Install" - the rest as they say was "HX". It would NOT work, no matter what I did when I tried to run it on my other PC with XP 64-Bit. Hope that helps....

SYSADMIN was in a subfolder on the same CD with the actual TIS. Maybe you got a "knockoff" but the one I received is white with the BMW logo on the upper left side. Says BMW Technical Information System Version January 2005 CD1 of 1. Mine could be a clever knockoff too, but looks pretty official.
