I don't know why he wanted to race, but from 80-on, I told him to go (wanted to show my gf how fast these suckers are), but he signaled ME to go! WTF! My gf was like, "Oh my", and I was like, "Screw it", so I dropped to 3rd and got the best take-off I possibly could.... and then the Suzuki 1300RR Hiyabusa just plain and simply bolted. Surprisingly, he went from what appeared to be 6th to 5th: not enough grunt, I hung for a sec; to 4th: He's gone! I just laughed--oh, I'd say about 50 bike lengths on me within the next 8 seconds, even with my mid-200rwHP. Hey, at least I got to race a high-9-second beast, ;) CYA>PM3

I love to race cars when Im on the bike.. first EVERY moron in the world want u to pull a wheelie for them. Then they want u to race... But its fun and they like to see the bikes take the hell off.

BTW.. if u wheelie for certain girls.. they'll flash u..!! :D

yup.. fastest top speed production bike.

Just curious -- what's an average 0-60 on one of those sportbikes?

I think it's around 2.5 seconds for the 600cc and up bikes. It's hard to get a great launch out of those crotch rockets.
