I was driving around town today with friends and this hot ass girl (like 9.5) pulls up in her E500. We ask her what shes been doing and shes like just driving around, and then shes like yeah Ive been racing some people. I was like wtf....

Then shes like you wanna race, so naturally I accepted, and we drove out to the highway. We just messed around getting up to around 85 on a 2 lane highway w/ traffic lights. Then we got on I80 back the way we came and I pulled through fifth to about 4 car lengths. I was very impressed with her driving skills, that that they were anything special, but most girls my age would never have the balls or talent to drive over 60.

And she kept being like, can you teach me about cars, etc...

Trust me, for most female teenagers, getting above 60 and not losing it is a big accomplishment, even in an auto.

What generation of e500? The last one would work you over pretty bad. And an e500 has to be one of the easiest cars ever to drive fast.

Still, though, the fact that she was willing to play is worth the story by itself. There's nothing like running into a hot young girl in a fast car.

E500s run low-mid 14s. With the OP's mods and the girl's relative inability to drive (even an auto), I can probably see you staying even or pulling a car--but I think you're exaggerating with 4 CLs...or else she really was too timid to mash the gas pedal. She didn't know how to stand on it. If it was a 7spd version it should've pulled even with your mods. E500's will trap 100mph no problem. Just stand on it.

3. It was not an E500 -really an E320 (An E350 would have beat you too)
4. You have a turbo or supercharger not listed in the mods above.

Which is it?

W211 E500 5Gs and 7Gs run low 14s in the quarter at 100 or just under, with the 7Gs maybe breaking into the very high 13s on occasion. That's more than enough the put down a bolt-on 328 on the highway, though the US cars are limited to 130 due to shite all-season tires. A chipped E36 could surpass that, but it should be prettty obvious what's happened when the Benz suddenly hits a wall and stops accelerating.

Stock for stock, an e36m3 would have a hard time with an e500 on an open highway. A mildly modded 328is (intake, exhaust, pullies) would still not be able to keep up with either. But if you're a great driver and she was too careful with her car, you can definitely have beaten her. If the distance was 4CL, she was definitely too careful. Anyways, props to you for the win and for meeting a new friend. ;)
