anyone know where i can find a track map of sears on the web? i looked at their website and didn't see any.

they used to have one on the website, at least they did in November when I last checked before my track day that didnt happen. Let me look around for you.

That's asking a lot. I've only seen that at a few racetracks around the nation, and never at big time Pro tracks.

VIR has something similiar for their track, but I doubt Sears Point does.

but even thunderhill, not that well known has it, i saw a similar one on laguna's website, just cant find it for sears,oh well...

Did you click the .pdf narrative? It's a pretty good description. Or you could try and follow me ;)

Just remember, 4th gear WOT all the way up to Turn 2 :)

Try Green Flag's website, I think they have some good in-car video, though not necessarily a tutorial, just footage.

u going to sears with NASA may 25th so i can follow u, hope it's not the blind leading the blind:D just kidding, from what i saw last sunday, it seems that they cleaned up quite abit. Anyway, just want to be careful with a new track, my friend rolled his car there in january and he supposely is an advanced driver:eek:

You got to respect Sears Point, every time I go at least one or two drivers wad a car. Every time. There are hefty consequences for taking unnecessary risks there, but still probably my favorite track.

NASA is holding event at Sears Point on 25th? Are you signed up in Group 3 or 4? I'm lagging, haven't been out yet this year. Let me know which group, I'll sign up :)

this is OT but what do think of brake duct kits, worth gettting? or would floaters do the same thing?

I have them, but in retrospect are overkill for anything around here besides Laguna Seca. Start with a good track pad and whatever rotor budget allows. If you're still having problems, examine braking technique, then consider brake ducts. I've found "dual purpose" pads nearly useless, not great for street, not great for track. YMMV.
