I got asked last minute if I wanted to fill in for a spot at a track rental. The car ran good but I was still plagued by a loose connection in the wiring harness. I made a bunch of incomplete passes and a bunch of low 10 sec passes at 144+ mph while I was trying to figure out some issues. The track was nice and the air was right but I couldn't beat my old time due to the car randomly cutting out between 1/2 and 2/3 gear changes. I did manage to cut a 1.51 60' on the 9.95 pass and a new high trap of 150.8mph on another pass.

Lots of low ten second passes on stock tranny, diff, and axles today with no carnage!

1.5" 60' foot on stock axles!

I was under the assumption that you upgraded your axles and drive shaft.. How often do you replace them?

You're an inspiration!!!

We are excited to run high 10's at 130's, 9's at 150 seem unattainable.

Keep up the good work!

Mike, what clutch are you using. I think the clutch is going on the coupe, and need something that is streetable. Clutch Masters FX700? Incredible. 150 HPH through the quarter. Its great to see these cars finally get where others have been for a while. Awesome.

So far the car sheared a tooth off of the pinion in the diff once and it broke a diff output shaft once. The driveshaft never brike because I installed a DSS shaft before I ran the car this year. Everything else is stock from when I bought the car.

The clutch is a Clutchmasters twin disk with a white diaphragm and sintered iron disks. It holds excellent so far. I wouldn't recommend this setup for a street car. I must have stalled the car 1000 times when it's cold. Most of the time it works perfectly and grabs in a very small window of engagement. But when you are leaving a traffic light in the morning that is when it just lets go and stalls the engine as if you side stepped the clutch at idle. This can sometimes be avoided by leaving lights like a pro stock drag racer but the law enforcement doesn't always think it's funny. You should probably try a lighter diaphragm and the kevlar disks.

Proof you don't need a built diff to put down some serious number. Amazing trap!
