Hi, I wonder if anyone had problems with new automatic transmission built in new 525 2007 series? It seems that sometimes does not transmit full power from engine, as if it's running in half-clutch mode so to speak? I already had it reprogrammed at dealer for "sudden start" issue. Overall, I am a bit disappointed with it's performance, and bit sorry I spent money on it.

What do you mean by 1/2 clutch... There is no clutch or friction plates in your car.... What I would say is your are in a situation where you are at full throttle from a coasting situation... You hammer the gas and then the trans downs shifts to the point where you are out of the tq/hp band and your just hitting the top of the RPM window before the next shift.... Plus you do have a 525 so that might be the real issue...... the 07 automatic trans is really good..... then again you do live in Belgium so this response may be usless since I drive a petrol

I know there is no clutch - it just feels like there is one, released half way between 1500-2500 RPM - feels very lazy in this area. I had it already reprogrammed at dealer's due to some other issue. I have a feeling that manual could extract much more from the engine.
