I drove home in the snow last night, it took me about 3 hours to go 3.5 mile. This morning when I left for work, when I got my car up to about 30-35, the sterring wheel started shaking. I didnt do this before yesterday. Could this be from some snow caught up in the car? Or somethign worse?

you might have some snow/ice built up in the wheels somewhere causing them to behave as though they were unbalanced. It'll either (most likely) go away on it's own or you can pressure wash the wheels out with warm water.

if you use hubcaps (as some do in the winter on steelies)....same thing happens but snow/ice gets trapped between the caps and the wheel face.

I've been parked in a garge that is heated to 65 since 9am. Hopefully when I get my car out at 5 it all melts away. This storm sucked.

at least your caliper didn't shear off and wedge itself in an awkward position causing your left front wheel to seize and the need for a tow and the scary uncertainty that your car may need a rim, caliper, axle, transfer case, and god knows what because you tried to keep going to get to a parking lot so your NEWLY painted car wouldn't be taken out by a plow.

Please tell me this is just a for instance, and not an actual happening of your night.

Geeeez, dude... worst

And about the steering wheel shake, yeah, I got the same thing and was thinking stuck caliper. One of my wheels locked up at slow speeds on Rt 2 so that sucked. But it seems to have gone away now. Keep an eye on how hot your wheels/rotors and stuff get. If one's abnormally hot then get it in to the shop asap...
