Has anyone heard of STRICTLY BMW in Bellevue, WA?? I heard they are pretty good. I so called them up and got a quote for auto. transmission fluid change and they said it would cost me $450 and seemed liked they knew what the were talking about!

THEN ... i called BMW of Bellevue and they quoted me $395!!! WOoT?!

Should I just go with the dealership?

Havn't personally been there but heard a lot of good things about strictly.

Only bad thing i've heard about them is there's a post in the e36 m3 section about strictly within the last week.
Kind of messed up what happened really.

400 bones for just a transmission fluid change? That will take less than 30 minutes if you do it yourself

On an automatic? Not a 30 min job. Plus, they'd probably do a full flush, to get all the old fluid out of the torque converter.

Maybe call up BMW Seattle and see what they quote you too. From what I hear and my experience with Seattle, they're better than Bellevue by far.

Strictly is amazing, they've done so much stuff on my e28, and have always been fast and do really good work, as far as I'm concerned its the only place that gets to do any serious work on my car. Plus they worked on it back in 94, they stamped the owners manual, back when I wasn't even dreaming about owning a car.

HMMM... Seems like STRICTLY BMW is that place to go then... BUT i read the DIY for the auto tranny fluid change.. and it didnt seems that hard! NOT worth $450..

Jack stands and a pump and get the job done. save yourself 400 dollars.

Strictly's good, there nice too, even when i don't take my car into them, and i want to know how to do something my self I just call em up and they tell me how to do it.
