I ran a search and all I could find was Auto X pressures. I just ordered a set from Tire rack, and I plan to heat cycle them. I was going to go with the Toyos but could not get the wife to let me spend the bucks, maybe next year.

Anyway was wondering what pressure I should run them for a driving school in a few weeks.

running 235/40/17s on 8.5 wheels.

Cold/hot, front/rear.

Thanks guys

Bump! If you don't get any replies by tomorrow, I can move this to Wheels/Tires for you, if you like...

38psi hot, give or take a couple of psi front/rear. Start out maybe 5-6psi less cold and adjust from there.

So cold 32 front 30 rear? I just need to get a starting point for my first session. then I will adjust hot. 38/36 or so.

Thanks

I start out same cold pressure all 4 corners, maybe 32psi, then check psi first thing getting off track. The car may like 40/38, 38/38, 38/36, etc. Kinda goes by what the car and track feel like. I do know that I have not liked 36psi, seems a little to light on pressure for the "heavy" E36 running near stock weight. I also swipe a little white shoe polish on the shoulder to help gauge tire roll. At 36psi I can scrub it all off, and have found the V700 Ecsta wears funny, perhaps contributing to the "groove of doom". YMMV :)
