Keep looking on the local CCA board, s14.net, and craigslist... they do pop up from time to time at a good price but they go quick. Otherwise you can pick up project cars for a decent amount if you want to do some restoration yourself...

watch california craigslists. less chance to get a rust bucket. other than that s14.net is the next best place. ive been watching for over a year and havent seen one for less than $10k that was a runner.

Define runner... for example a running car (definitely a project) for $7500 http://www.s14.net/forums/showthread.php?t=28995

Those aren't that hard to find.

Yeah.... not too hard to find (for me anyways) it seems like. I've been to a couple of forums and found some for a decent price.

although the owner of M-Cars is a really nice guy.

1. Wasnt impressed with the quality of the e30's he has
2. Consignments cars always mean more $$

When I first started looking for my current car, m3s were about 12k, even found one for 7500, that from the ad, sounded good, not perfect, but decent. Now I can't even find one under 15k

exactly. I can remember looking at a near mint e30 m3 for 16k and passing on it, because it was too expensive. Now i'm kicking myself because the rusted ones are going for 15k.
