View Full Version : Ebay Corners and Tails (e36) Lie 12-12-2007, 08:16 PM I figure I'm going to pick up some Ebay ones for cheap, because seems the most cost effective and I don't think I need $100+ Corners and Tails. Anyway, I have a black E36 Sedan, so I'm debating about smoking them out. Anyone got a picture of theirs smoked or not? I'm currently leaning towards just keeping them nice and clear, and I figure since they're most likely going to be Ebay it's not worth it to smoke them etc. 3two8eye 12-12-2007, 08:26 PM i bought smoked lights off ebay for my old car, they worked fine flexer 12-12-2007, 09:11 PM Also bought a set of smokes off ebay. Afterwards the masking tape was pulled off and I cleared the whole lens was cleared. I went with this scheme since the lights I bought the car with were pretty ugly looking IMO. http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c61/M3mobbin/DSCF1830.jpg McDani3coupe 12-13-2007, 03:47 AM Nightshaded ftmfw! robisconfusedd 12-13-2007, 05:55 AM it depends, if your car has black rims or blacked out kidney grills.. it will look good.. but if not, i think just clear looks great IMO.. m3mobbin sets a great example of how awesome black cars can really look when done well.. i'd vote to just smoke them with nightshades yourself later, just buy the regular clears for now, then you can see what you like! zarbat007 12-13-2007, 06:19 AM The smoked ones look better since they match the headlight housing.
