I thought I had seen it all- dude has 9" speakers in his doors. Pener panels are one thing- but 9" in the doors? This car is ghetto IMO. From that bad trim finish to the speaker pods, just not feeling it.

I just don't see why there's a 9" woofer in the doors. I'm trying to be open minded. Why would you want woofers firing at your knees?

He's trying to bring the bass forward, I did the same thing in my 3 series, you would be amazed how powerful a speaker of that size makes the front sound stage. I would have left them in the doors, but I didnt like the way the panels were made, so I pulled them and relocated the 9's in the kick panels. As far as his install of the speakers, he did a pretty good job, is there a picture with a grill installed?

I don't like the look AT ALL, but damn!!!!

I bet that thing sounds great!

Mark,
it's all about having a fantastic front stage. Rear speakers are the sucksorz.

Would you go to a concert and turn around so the sound comes from behind you?

I'd like to put a cd in there and test it out. I'm sure it sounds way better than my 100% stock stereo.

Man, the workmanship is clean (on the A-pillars especially), but that's a lot of effort for an end product that just looks awful.

I agree. The work quality looks great.
Although the end result like everyone has stated is not too pleasing to most.
Myself included on that one.

I'd like to see other works the guy has done aside from this silver burlwood no no. I'm sure his other stuff must be great as those rings on the a-pillar were looking top notch.

Nothin screams ghetto like a fuggly mod that took a long time. (nice craftmanship though)
