I just got a really cheap pair of headlights from a friend, basically for free. They are projectors, but they have plastic lenses. I'm not quite sure what brand they are. On the headlight there is a sticker saying it takes H4 bulbs. How do I hook these up to the stock assembly?

Also, they came with a set of angel eyes. Once again, no idea what brand they are, all I know is there is a red and black wire coming out of each one. How could I hook these up?

Are these more trouble then they're worth?

I can email you pics if it would help.

H4 will be easier to find higher output bulbs for, but you need to get the sockets that will go from our 9005/6 harness to the 3 prong H4.

I have not seen a plastic lens housing that I would go to the trouble of retrofitting to and e36. I'd just get some good 9006 bulbs and fit them as the lows in a good clean set of the original housings.

You probably need to do some research about the brand of headlights and then ask for opinions. If they are one of the ebay far east brands I'd doubt they would be worth the trouble. IMHO.

Thanks for the reply. I'm gonna get rid of them, and I ordered some new ones, so I'm just waiting for Christmas to put them in.
